Some babies take longer to deliver… that was the case of this blouse. I had almost 3 m length of silk printed and was tempted to make use of it’s every inch and sew a dress… but for a long dress I would prefer to have more abstract pattern. I knew I, in fact, wanted to make a top but to decide on the shape wasn’t easy. Buttons or not? If yes, at the front or at the back? Length. How tight. Sleeves, how long… Eventually, I decided to keep it simple as I usually do and let the print speak – louder at the sleeves. I feel it is them which reminds me of eastern clothes, kimonos, saris. Hence the title.
size S to L, it ships free till October 5th
I love this – the simplicity! Good job! I might even be tempted to buy
