So, where did I stop? Holidays continue, so does embroidery, baking, painting, drawing, felting… with the girls. Nothing is ideal though. They quibble more and the house seems to be sometise too small for all their energy. So one afternoon I just pushed them out to the garden and quickly layered the fibre for this scarf. They needed some fresh air and I needed to get my hands soapy after more than a week of felting abstinence!
I was repeating this experiment and this time it worked perfect. I used only yarn, without any merino to help the yarn to interlock. The yarn felted fully without any problem, becoming a net without one needlefelted or stitched place. It seems that yarns which are fluffy are more suitable for this technique than the smooth ones.
